The goal of this summit is to bring together leaders from across all HSC chapters and HSC’s national leadership to promote unity, foster collaboration, provide hands-on leadership training, discuss brand new chapter initiatives, and strategize on how to best lead and grow an HSC chapter.

Q: What is the goal of the 2022 Fall Chapter Leadership Summit?
The goal of this summit is to bring together HSC chapter leaders from across North America & the Caribbean to promote unity, foster collaboration, provide hands-on leadership training, discuss brand new chapter initiatives, and strategize on how to best lead and grow an HSC chapter. Along with meeting other chapter executives from around the continent, there will also be plenty of opportunities for team bonding, fun, and games during the summit.
Q: What does the Summit programming look like?
A draft schedule will be shared in the upcoming days for those who register. At a high level, there will be chapter development workshops, trivia, leadership hackathons, a review of HSC’s mission/vision, yoga & meditation sessions, team bonding activities & games, guest speakers (spiritual & professional), and quite a bit more.
Q: Who is invited to this Summit?
The 2022 Fall Leadership Summit is open to all HSC chapter executive board members, e.g. President, Co-President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Head of Events, Marketing Chair, etc. It is not open to all HSC chapter general body members.
Q: Where will the Summit be taking place?
The summit will be held in the middle of New York City.
Q: When will the Summit be taking place?
The Summit will take place from Friday, September 23rd at 3 pm ET to Sunday, September 25th at 4pm ET. Please plan to arrive early on Friday and stay as late as possible on Sunday.
[Note: If you would like to arrive early or stay back later to do some NYC sight-seeing, there will be a group of people that you can join. Since this is not part of the HSC summit, your stay and any additional expenses will not be covered. However, there is a room block that you can be included in, so please send a message to [email protected] if you are interested]
Q: How do I register for this Summit?
Registration is very limited and capped at 25. To reserve a spot at the summit, registrants must:
- Fill out the registration form.
- Submit the registration fee. Registration is $108. Deadline for registration is August 18th, 2022 by 11:59 pm ET.

Q: How do I pay the registration fee?
Please submit a one-time registration fee of $108 per attendee using one of our payment methods:

The registration fee is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. To reserve a seat at the summit, students must submit the fee along with the registration from. Registration closes on August 18th, 2022 at 11:59 pm ET.
Q: What expenses will be covered?
Lodging and joint meals will be covered by HSC. Lodging will be provided from Friday (9/23) afternoon until Sunday (9/25) morning.
Travel expenses are not covered in the registration fee. Please make your own arrangements. We can assist in picking appropriate arrival and departure times [see below].
We also have financial aid available for students who need assistance. Please contact [email protected] to request assistance.
We highly recommend students to work with their university student body to get reimbursement for the registration fee and travel expenses – we have a formal invitation letter that students can use to submit to the University along with the funding request. Please contact [email protected] to set up a meeting with us on how to request funds from your university.
Q: What flights should I book?
Please book flights that arrive at LaGuardia Airport (LGA), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), or Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Please make your own arrangements to travel between the airport and the Summit venue. Google maps public transportation will give detailed instructions on the best trains/buses to take. If unable to find transportation from the airport to the venue, please contact an executive board member as they may be able to provide a ride.
Please aim to reach anytime before 2 pm ET on Friday, September 23rd. Please pick flight departure times anytime after 7pm ET on Sunday, September 25th to give enough time for transit and check-in after the summit program ends.

Q: HSC Merch?
Summit attendees will receive a complimentary HSC-branded t-shirt, while supplies last. HSC Q-zips will be available to purchase ($35) at the Summit.
Q: What are the Covid guidelines for the event?
All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test taken within the last 72 hours.
