Hindu Students Council is pleased to invite you to our 2022 Spring Leadership Summit.

The goal of this summit is to bring together leaders from across all HSC chapters and HSC’s national leadership to promote unity, foster collaboration, provide hands-on leadership training, discuss brand new chapter initiatives, and strategize on how to best lead and grow an HSC chapter.

Shirts are out of stock – we’ll try to send a future shirt to any new registrants. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and Sunday!

HSC 2022 Spring Leadership Summit FAQ 


Q: What is the goal of the 2022 Spring Leadership Summit?

A: The goal of this summit is to bring together leaders from across all HSC chapters to promote unity, foster collaboration, provide hands-on leadership training, discuss brand new chapter initiatives, and strategize on how to best lead and grow an HSC chapter. Along with meeting all other chapter executives from around the continent, there will also be plenty of opportunities for team bonding, fun, and games during the summit.


Q: What does the Summit programming look like?

A:  A draft schedule will be shared in the upcoming days for those who RSVP. At a high level, there will be yoga & meditation sessions, team bonding activities & games, guest speakers (spiritual & professional), chapter development workshops, trivia, leadership hackathons, a review of HSC’s Mission/Vision, and quite a bit more. 


Q: Who is invited to this Summit?

A: The 2022 Spring Leadership Summit is open to all HSC chapter executive board members, e.g. President, Co-President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Head of Events, Marketing Chair, etc. It is not open to all HSC chapter general body members. Chapter Executives from Non-HSC Hindu groups are also welcome to attend. 


Q: Where will the Summit be taking place?

A: The summit will be held in sunny Dallas, Texas.


Q: When is the summit?

The summit will start on Friday, January 14 at 7 pm till Monday, January 17 at 1 pm.  

The National Leadership Session will extend till 5pm on Monday 1/17, which is optional for chapter executives who want to learn about what HSC’s doing nationally and ways to get involved.


Q: What flights should I book?


Please book flights that arrive at the Dallas Love Field Airport or the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. 


Flight arrival and departure times within the suggested windows below will be guaranteed of pickup and drop-off services. If you book flights outside those time frames, please be prepared to make your own arrangements to travel between the airport and the Summit venue.


Please aim to reach anytime between 5-8 pm on Friday, January 14th. Students are also given the option to arrive on Saturday, January 15th morning from 6-8 am.

Please pick flight departure times between 3-4:30 pm on Monday, January 17th to give enough space for transit and check-in.

On Monday, the program will extend till 5 pm for National Leadership sessions, which is optional for chapter executives who want to learn about what HSC’s doing nationally and ways to get involved.

For those staying for the National Leadership sessions, please pick flight departure times from 7:30-9 pm to allow space for transit and check-in.

Q: What expenses will be covered?

A: The registration fee includes all local expenses, including local transit, lodging (hotel rooms), and joint meals. Lodging will only be provided from 1/14 evening till 1/17 morning. 


Travel expense is not covered in the registration fee. Please make your own arrangements. We can assist in picking appropriate arrival and departure times.


Q: How do I pay the registration fee? 

Please pay a one-time fee of $148 per student using one of our donation methods at this link: http://www.hindustudentscouncil.org/donate-to-hsc/

Please make sure to indicate the student attendee’s name when submitting fees. After payment, please email your receipt to [email protected].


The registration fee is due by December 30, 2021, and is non-refundable. To confirm registration, students must pay the registration fee by the deadline. 


Q: HSC Merch?

A: An HSC-branded t-shirt will be included in the registration fee. Please make sure to provide your t-shirt size in the registration form. HSC hoodies will be available to purchase at the Summit itself. 


Q: What are the Covid guidelines for the event? 

All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or a Negative Covid test taken within the last 72 hours.
