To bring Hindu students closer to our Dharmic practices, Cornell HSC Students hosts weekly bhajans & pujas for the Cornell Hindu community to feel at home. On Dec 3, 2022, Cornell HSC was blessed to have Brahmacari Suryanarayanaji from Pennsylvania come to campus to perform the annual Saraswati Puja and give a talk on Lessons from the Ramayana.
Through his modern practical advice, humor, and storytelling, he connected with each and every one of the 40 students in attendance and inspired us to push through this final exams period.
Suryaji hopes to speak out to more young adults across the nation and would love to attend and give talks on our rich Vedic heritage at other universities. He hopes to inspire the next generation of young adults and ensure that our Hindu traditions stay intact when we move away from our homes for studies.
